Cadover Bridge – National Trust

Cadover Bridge, Devon

A well loved, tranquil moorland area to take a walk around, either through the woods or climb a tor – alternatively have a paddle in the Plym River. If you simply want to take a picnic and enjoy the stunning scenery, hang out with the resident Dartmoor ponies or relax by the river, Cadover Bridge is the ideal place. On most sunny days, a local ice-cream van is a regular in the car park, which is free, the only downside is the lack of facilities.
