The Jackson family acquired the historic White Hart Hotel on 7th February. It is now temporarily closed for refurbishment and will reopen during May. Bookings are now being taken from 1st June with earlier dates in May becoming available once the reopening date is finalised.
The Jacksons bring high standards of refurbishment and customer service honed at their previously very successful hotel, the famous Jamaica Inn on Bodmin Moor, that they owned and ran for 8 years until August 2022. James Jackson and his partner Hannah Chester will be bringing their individual managerial skills to run the White Hart day-to-day with background expertise provided by James’ father Allen Jackson.
The family also look forward to continuing the important relationship the White Hart Hotel has with the local community.
The hotel’s phone number 01647 440500 and email – enquiries@whitehartdartmoor.co.uk – remain operational during refurbishment.
We are very dog friendly at the White Hart Hotel
Dogs and Dartmoor go perfectly together and are very welcome to come and stay with us too – we provide a dog bed, bowl, towel, treat bag and charge £10 per dog, per night.
