Canonteign Falls lie in the beautiful Teign Valley and include South West England’s highest waterfall at 220 ft. (70 metres). The falls continue down through a spectacular combination of rock formations, ancient woodland and cascades to the lakes below. Lady Exmouth falls were created by soon to be redundant tin and silver miners in the 1880s, Lady Susan employed the miners and they created a dramatic 70 metre falls. You have to book a slot to visit – usually this attraction opens in March, however if it has rained heavily, or there are high winds they have to close, due to health and safety reasons – so please check their website.
