Stay at the Hart of Dartmoor
Following a £500,000 refurbishment, our Grade II-listed hotel is more comfortable and characterful than ever. There are 28 tastefully furnished rooms, many with views over Dartmoor. There’s a choice of older Georgian rooms with interesting period features or recently furnished modern rooms in our Mews annexe. All have ensuite facilities with baths or showers and many with both. Beaches & Coastal Towns from the Hart
The White Hart Hotel’s perfect position in the centre of Devon means the beaches of the north and south coasts are an easy drive away. Head north to Ilfracombe, where you'll find a charming harbour peppered with colourful boats. The town is also notable for its many independent traders, eateries and art galleries.
Alternatively, drive south to discover Dartmouth and Salcombe – two resort towns set within the gorgeous surrounds of the South Devon National Landscape. Both are interesting and within easy driving distance of the hotel, as are some of Devon's best beaches.
