Guests may book in advance or (availability permitting) on arrival. Rooms are subject to availability and the hotel reserves the right to refuse any bookings for good reason. Payment is taken at the point of booking with full refund available up to 7 days prior to arrival date.

We offer a check in service from 3:00pm -10;00pm, if you are likely to arrive at the hotel after 10:00pm, please let us know,w as we do not offer 24 hour reception and the hotel closes at 11:00pm. 

Early check ins are late checkouts can be arranged for an additional fee with prior notice. Please call reception to find out more. 

On the day of departure, we ask all guest to vacate their rooms by 11:00am. As we are a small hotel, we are not in a position to offer late check out unless it is an emergency. You may be charged an hourly rate at the discretion of the hotel.

We do ot allow smoking in any hotel room. Any guests found smoking in their room will be charged a £60 heavy cleaning fee. Evidence of smoking will be documented and shared with the guests with confirmation of the charge. This is non-negotiable as removing the smell of smoke from a bedroom can be difficult & force us to close that room off for a night when it could be sold. Thank you for understanding. 

Please contact our reception on 01647 440500 to discuss specific individual requirements and the availability of appropriate accommodation. Unfortunately we do not have rooms on the ground floor in the main hotel as it is an old, listed building. 

Parking is easy, with two pay and display car parks close by (Station Road car park is 496 yards). Chargers are from (9:00 - 18:00, approx. £4 per day. Overnight parking is free. Using the Rin Go app. Station Road carpark is ID #7732.

Moretonhampstead is very rural of course, so if you require a taxi whilst you are staying with us, you will need to book in advance. Moretonhampstead is covered by two taxi firms: Moorland Taxis 01647 441143 or RS Taxis 01647 279008.

Please be aware that at certain times throughout the year the hotel may host weddings, events and parties that you may feel would be an intrusion on your stay. Please contact the hotel directly in advance to your stay for more information.

The Company's liability where accommodation is booked for guest belongings is generally limited under the hotel proprietors Act 1956. The company maintains appropriate insurance cover where the hotel is liable for any injury of loss or damage suffered by our guests. 

In the unlikely event that you have a problem during your stay, please bring this to the attention of the hotel manager at the time to ensure that we have the opportunity to recift the issue during your stay.
